My classroom experience and postgraduate research meet in the same subject: the words, patterns, and ideas students work with every day.
I taught English at Peshawar Model School & College in Swabi from 2023 to 2025. Before that, at The Quaid International Model School & College in Tordher, I taught Classes 9 and 10 and prepared students for board examinations.
I completed an MPhil in English at Northern University, Nowshera. My thesis looked at phrases in SSC English textbooks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa—a research interest that grew from paying close attention to how vocabulary and expressions appear in real learning materials.
I also hold a BS in English (Language and Literature) from NUML, Islamabad. My academic interests include applied linguistics, corpus linguistics, phraseology, lexicography, and English language teaching.
